is anyone intrested in or taking up Graduate Legal Studies at Columbia or International Legal Studies at NYU????

srk, I got an offer for ILS in NYU, but don't think I will go there- too expensive and no financial aid from NYU. But I have until May to take my decision, so who knows...

i got a 10 grand award from nyu but i have till the 10th to let them know for sure whereas columbia said they'd let me know around mid aril if i'm getting any aid. If i refuse nyu, columbia might end up not giving me any aid atall.

did any body receive an acceptance letter via refular mail and not UPS?
I was told by NYU that my decision was sent out on april 1st and since I didnt receive any thing yuet I assume it wasn't sent via UPS and than I assume it means I wasnt accepted. did any body receive any thing via regular mail, even regections?

I think it's a fair (but not certian) assumption that if we have not received anything from NYU as yey, a rejection is likely. I say this only because replies sent 1 April by UPS would have arrived by now...

i got my package and acceptance letter from NYU yesterday...i.e the 4rth without a previous mail.....so i'm thinking they're still sending out packages......i have a question.......my acceptance letters and packages..both from NYU and Columbia...neither mention which llm program i've been enrolled in...is that weird? or will i find out later???

i am a korean girl who just finished a master in law in Poland.

on 30th of March i received (actually my mom cuz i was in paris at that time and came back last friday) an admission by UPS (on the latter of the admission it is printed the date of March 29,2005).

i received the offer of 10grand and RA position but it has been written that it will be under first-come, first-served basis. so i am wondering whether my email of acceptance of both award and RA which was sent yesterday is not too late...

above someone said that ppl who got an offer need to confirm by 11th, April. if so then i guess my reply wasnt that late...
and one more, does anyone have an idea when they will confirm whether i will receive award for sure or not?....(since in the letter it has been written that i am ELIGIBLE for the award,..^^;; )

nwoo: answer to our questionis that yes they will mail you back to confirm that u were in time for the award but if they dont you must mail them and ask them to confirm it. 11th april 5pm eastern time ( i.e 5pm new york time) is the deadline to make the deposit of 500 dollars but if you dont make the deposit by the 11th 5 pm, u willlose the award but not your seat there...for that u have till the 6th of may....good luck. Have you named any profesors whom you want to work with?
