Wanna ask whether there's anybody asking the school's permission to defer your enrollment for the academic year 07-08? I have written the school to explain my situation, but still got no reply (it's been more than 2 weeks).

Any suggestion or information?

I am currently in Berkeley, and I heard that last year the same school offered all the LLM students to defer their enrollment for one year. Possibly it's because the year before the selection was much more limited, and they wanted to increase gradually the number of international students. But in any case, I think they wouldn't be too strict about it. Good luck!
