Decide between USC or UVA

tristian

Hi all, I'm torn between those 2 schools, I was admitted to both of them and the deadline to commit to my spot is in 3 days!
Last time I checked, USC is a T18 and UVA a T8, while its not the best T10 it still is in that bracket.
After completing the LLM I'd like to practice on the customs and business US law fields, I hope of passing either the CA or NY bar after completing it and joining a mid to large sized firm in the US or an organization such as the WTO, considering that I'm already authorized to live and work in the US.

Pros for USC:

    * 44% Scholarship
    * Bar track

Pros for UVA:

    * T8 rank
    * Prestige, govt and org resume building
    * Class size of 50

What do you guys think? Is the ranking of UVA (T8) better enough to prefer it over USC considering the lack of scholarship?

 Since I'm based on the west coast I may be giving less credit and pros to UVA than it might have.
Your opinions would be greatly welcomed!

Does USC offer some portion of tuition? 44%? I've never heard that. I really envy you. Is the scholarship amount to 30k?

If I were you, I would choose the latter. You can manage to pay tuition. You can invest your money for your development.

Hey @episteme its the other way around, UVA (T8) did not offer me a scholarship but is better ranked, particularly on the East Coast (NY, Boston, D.C., etc). USC did offer me scholarship however its a T18 and is on the West Coast.
