Are there any other applicants who got admitted?
Columbia Early Review

Nothing yet. Just waiting and praying not to lose hope.
It seems there is no pattern in CLS decisions (as to send admissions first and then e-mail rejections). Actually, decisions were made randomly last year all through December. So, IMHO, we don't need to worry and go desperate until we get the e-mail.
But I am also curious whether or not someone else got admitted. Anyone? Daverod?

Nothing yet... I'm checking the mail constantly looking for news. I just hope there is no pattern in their decision notification process. I'm going to Portugal on Sunday and I wouldnt like to travel still waiting for admission e-mails.
Congrats to Ccampos!

Hey I got an email yesterday too. Does such an early response mean anything at all? Also, can anyone tell me what Columbia is like when it comes to financial aid? I'm a policy research consultant from India and that exchange rate is a killer. I submitted my online application by November 8th, but the materials would have reached them by the 12th.

Congrats rohangeorge!

Well done Rohangeorge! I envy you now! Eheh...
Were you considered for early review? I thought early review applications had the November 1st deadline for submission.
Maybe you were processed as an early review applicant even though your application wasn't submitted within their deadline; at least that's what happened to some llm-guide members last year.

Congratulations! you must be SO happy! Could you please give us some information about your background? I have the feeling that they are giving positive answers to young professionals now. Thanks!

Actually, brasileans are always accepted in advance. I think the rest of latinamerican should get some news in a week or so.
I am still crossing my fingers (nervously).

Congratulations to all of you who have been accepted to Columbia! If you have a corporate background and a commitment to pro bono service, you should consider applying to the LLM Pro Bono Fellowship Program (see below). It is a unique program only offered by Columbia

Has anyone from India received an admission decision for CLS LLM till now ?
My application page shows that my application has been submitted and I had received an email from CLS that my supplementary materials had been received. But there is no information like 'decision' or somethin of that sort on the application status page. Any clue ?
Thanks

Hi everyone,
In my opinion, their Internet Status page will not show any changes and we will be informed of the decision by e-mail followed by mail.
I want to congratulate both Brazilians admitted; although I acknowledge that, as a Brazilian cadidate myself, my chances to get in by the early review process dramatically decreased, since two of my fellow-countrymen already secured their places.
I don't know if CLS has a fixed quota per country, but all I'm left with here are prayers and hope...

Thank you all. I was very happy indeed. I have 7 years of professional experience dealing with corporate and banking transactions.

nothing on this topic for a few days... Did they stop delivering answers?

Hey! Has anyone else received an admission e-mail?

I just received a "defer" notice three hours ago.
Does this mean there's no possibility for getting admitted through the regular cycle? Can I still be optimistic? Comments would be appreciated.

Hi PA. According with Columbia's web page, "Admissions decisions, including Early Review applications that were deferred to the regular cycle, are being made on a rolling basis. If you have not yet heard from us, you should not worry. In most cases, decisions are made by late April or early May". Based on this information, I would still be optimistic.

Hi!
The waiting is killing me! I just read about your deferral. Well, at least you know you're not out of the game. You should not worry. It means that you've got an interesting profile but they might want to review the applications from the normal batch. Would you mind telling us where you come from and what's your background? Does anybody from Europe received an answer?
Thanx!

Thanks for your comments. I'll wait for a final decision for a while, I don't know when it is delivered though.

Hey PA,
The fact that CLS did not reject your aplication is a strong indicative they saw good potential in it.
They sure have plenty of experience and sensibility towards great candidates who are still to be reviewd in the normal batch and even so chose to defer your applicartion to compete with theirs. All is not lost, that's certain! Good luck!
As for me, I'm still waiting for an answer.
