Cannot imagine CLS is even working in these hours, it is midnight in the east time.

News is that CLS is starting to shooting "waitlisted" decision.

Just got waitlisted a few hours ago. I have an April 15 deadline for NYU which makes things a bit difficult. From what I read in previous posts, requesting a expedite decision may result in a rejection, but I'll take my chance anyway!

After having received the email telling me I'm on waitlist, I have asked for a expedite decision with regard to the April 15 deadline I am facing... They answered that they couldn't give a final decision earlier than late April...

I am a bit frustrated because it means I should give up NYU in order to wait for CLS final decision (which means running the risk of being rejected!).

Has anyone received the same answer?

Has anyone still not heard anything from Columbia? No acceptance, rejection or wait-list? What do you think this means?

I have already paid my deposit at Berkeley but am waiting to hear from Columbia and am on the wait-list for UPenn.

Hey guys! I haven't heard from Columbia yet.

My understanding is that they are still admitting or waitlisting students. I had a strange feeling that I should get an answer today. I thought I wouldn't be going crazy like some other people in this chain but now I am going crazy))

Congrats to all admitted and fingers crossed to all who are still waiting! (I belong to the latter category).

2 questions:
1) Those who are not enrolling in Columbia and choosing Chicago, NYU or else instead - is this decision based on availability of financial aid elsewhere?
2) Those who got admitted to Columbia, were any of you granted the Appel Fellowship or a full-tuition scholarship?
