I have a dilemma. I wasn't accepted in to my preferred schools, NYU and CLS. Now I'm left with Chicago and Georgetown and I can't decide. Either I won't do the LLM now but I'll apply to NYU and CLS again next year - but is there even a realistic chance they'd accept me then? Should I just accept that I wasn't admitted to my first choices and go to Chicago of Georgetwon instead? Which is better of those two? Chicago is better ranked but people say Washington DC is a nicer city..? I have a Fulbright scholarship. Advice?
Chicago or Georgetown?

If I were you I would go for Chicago because it's better ranked. Waiting another year for CLS or NYU may not worth your while especially if Fulbright cannot be deferred.

Hmm, I don't think that D.C. is actually nicer...there are some pretty nice areas, like georgetown or the Mall area...but in the whole, D.C. is not only a safe place etc. Chicago has very nice and great areas, too and is a great city to explore etc. Further, University of Chicago is one of the unis in the world (no uni has more novelprice winners) and its law school is one of the top law schools that actually seems to be not worse than NYU or CLS...so, I'd take the offer and go to Chicago...in particular because the Fulbright scholarship is a great thinkg...

Hey, both Chicago and GULC are awesome!
In my opinion, you should think about your are of interest in the first place.
In my case, I was accepted to GULC and waitlisted at Chicago, but honestly preferred the first one (asked for them to withdraw my appl.). Although Chicago is better ranked, GULC is better for my field and it is also located in DC (which I believe is nicer and where everything takes place).
So I really think you should think about your interests first.
