Hi everyone! I want to ask questions concerning my chances of being admitted to top law school in USA. I am from Armenia, 26 years old. I have a bachelor degree and a master degree from the law faculty of the Yerevan state University(both of them with honours). Currently I am aslo a PHD student and will get my PHD degree by the end of this year. Moreover I am lecturer in the Yerevan state University. I have also worked in the Ministry of Justice as an assistant to the MInister of Justice for more than three years. My toefl score is 105. But speaking is just 22.
Do i have real chances in order to being admitted to Chicago, Harvard, Columbia, UPENN, UCLA, Berkeley
I really need good advice. So please don't hesitate and help me.

Try to raise your toefl to about 110 with 25 at leas in each section. All of those schools are very strict regarding toefl scores and since American school focus on class participation and socratic method, evidence of good english is necesary. Meeting such requirement and preparing a good application will certainly get you a place in Chicago, Hvd or Stanfd; in my opinion, the best US law schools for LLM.

What other factors will raise my chances?

What other factors will raise my chances?spend a large amount of time on drafting your personal statement and choosing the people writing your letters of recommendation

I agree. The personal statement and letters of recommendation will matter a great deal to convince the admissions office that you will make good use of your LLM degree.

I can only agree with all the foregoing. Boosting each aspect of your application, even for a point or two might sometimes be a difference from being above the line and admitted. This is very important as each year the pool of applicants is different and you compete with all other people who applied. In addition, your career and educational background this far should also be presented in the context of your expected and planned year off to do an LLM. Try to show what is the added value of the LLM for your career and future plans ad how this particular program fits into these.

I agree. Applicants should distinguish themselves from the pool. To a certain extent, the application process is about "selling" yourself to the admissions committee. Applicants should give the committee an opportunity that it cant refuse.
