Hello everyone,
I've spent quite a lot of time on this forum reading a lot of different threads that turned out to be really useful for me, however, I'm posting this today because I'm looking for your learned advice.
So far I've been accepted to BU's General LL.M and to Fordham's Intellectual Property and Information Technology LL.M for the Fall 2010.
I'm also waiting on UPenn's and Cornell's decisions.
For those of you who are wondering, I sent my applications mid-January (except for Cornell : Feb 1st) and I received an answer from BU 10 days after I sent my application (3 days after the phone interview) and today for Fordham.
The question is simple : What, according to you, is the best place to go if all 4 accept me? What if only BU and Fordham accept me? And also, why?
A few details about myself : I really like IP but I fear that the specialized LL.M will eventually be a burden regarding employment opportunities.
I plan to take the NY Bar Exam after my LL.M and then go back to my home country. I'd love to find a job in the US and stay there for a year or two but I kind of got over that idea, having been told how the job market for LL.Ms is (especially now).
Therefore, I really want to enjoy the place where I'm studying, but I also want the name of the Law School on my diploma to be a plus towards non-US and international law firms.
Thank you all for reading me.
