To all of you who will be pursuing a LL.M. in the US, you will probably be bringing a laptop with you. As such, you will probably find this NY Times editorial interesting:

Be careful of what you load into your laptop! If Americans can be subjected to such harassment by their own government, all the more will foreigners be subjected to such treatment.

at times it applies to your baggage too but one cannot consider entering the country without baggage just for the fear of being searched.
