I already emailed them with the time and dates but they haven't responded to my email.. Plus today and tomorrow are the last remaining dates.. You reckon i should be taking a chance and not call them..?

I'm afriad your answer is incorrect. The three times and dates are for them to schedule a time to receive your call.
I got admitted into BU's American Law program, the interview was quite easy, just some general questions about your interest. No scholarship though, and I have no intention to enroll.
i think its an option between calling them or simply emailing them with three alternative dates and times that they may call you. I reckon its wisest to do both!

Ok.. I am assuming i should just call them tonight. But i made another mistake. The time i gave them was wrong. Now i am screwed coz they specifically mentioned that they don't take calls after a certain time. Should i just go ahead and call them between their prescribed time or email them asking for some other time?

I would suggest emailing them more times and dates,allowing a resonable period of time for them to respond(say today is sunday, and you tell them your available dates are wed, thu,and fri this week).
Calling without fixing a time with them is unwise, becasue the interviewer may be engaged with other interviwee at that time.
To my knowledge, two people are in charge of the interview for American Law LL.M, John and Sarah. They will tell you whom to call in their email.f

@qiqimao: That's exactly what i meant.. sorry if i wasn't clear enough.
@attcus: I do not think they would be too fussy about you emailing them twice, would they? You could just email them again and then call them within their office timings informing them about your mistake and the second email. Should be all right.
Best!

Yep, they would be happy if you mail them again. John is a very nice and pragmatic guy...

So I understand from all your posts that BU make rolling decisions... is this correct?
I haven't submitted my application yet - I think the deadline is not until April 15? How quickly did you all receive your invitations to have the phone interview?

I got my application complete status on 24th january 2010 once i called them and then received a mail from them last week around wednesday to schedule a telephonic interview. It was a lot faster than the other universities. From what i have read on their website they do make decisions on a rolling basis. I don't know much about the deadline though. All da best!

hey, i read on the website that BU's application deadline for the fall semester is May 31! isn't that like really far down the line?

well... I just finished my phone interview one hour ago. I don't think it's easy either. The interviewer read my SOP carefully and asked me several related legal questions I mentioned in my SOP. In my opinion, what they want to know is my English and legal abilities. They want to make sure what I put in my SOP is real, maybe... I have tried my best.. still nervous now.. ...........>_<

Congrats everyone! Which program did you all apply to -- the general LLM or a specialized one? Did anyone apply for the Intellectual Property LLM? I haven't sent in an application yet (it's late I know), but I'm seriously considering it... although the fact that the program only had one admitted student in 2008-2009 makes me slightly nervous!
