Hi Everyone!
I was admitted in both of these schools and am having a difficult time choosing between the two.
I need to decide by April 5.
Any opinion/comment/suggestion would be greatly appreciated. :)
Berkeley vs. Georgetown?

Tigris,
I hope you get in Georgetown. I do not think it is too late. May I ask why Georgetown is your preference?
Goodluck!

Hi dulu.
Thank you.
My wife is admitted to Johns Hopkins which means I am gonna live in DC anyway. And it is obvious that Georgetown is the best law school in DC. Besides, I don't really have a good GPA in order to be admitted to better programs.
I have already applied to Georeg Washington and going to apply to Washington School of Law. Among these schools which one would you prefer ;)
That's my story
see you

Boat is slipping..they are on the way down in the rankings. The reasons being:
- It is an underfunded public law school
- Their JD admisions policy is a joke for a supposed t-14 law school( they admit huge numbers of students with under 160 lsat)
-It is not just typically liberal IT IS FANTASY LAND LIBERAL!
Choose gulc, it is an absolute fallacy that Boalt has even the best ip-program if thats your thing

I was admitted in Georgetown, and I could have a Berkeley admission,I guess,if I wanted it.However,I visited both last year, and eventhough San Fransisco is beautiful,I think Georgetown is better. But my orientation is international law,and Georgetown is higher in rankings. This is why this year I only applied and was admitted in Georgetown.
Tigris,I am not sure I ll go,so it would be so nice if they gave you my position. This sounds so nice, both you and your wife in DC.Johns Hopkins is a great option.I wish you the best of luck for Georgetown(such a cool place-I liked DC very much)!

Tigris, Rodney, and Emme,
Thanks very much for your feedback. I appreciate your candor.
I plan to take international law and environmental law (not IP, which Boalt or "Boat" :) is supposed to be good at), so I'm leaning towards Georgetown for now.
Goodluck to you all!

Tigris,
may I ask where you are from?
Krisztian
Sure you may. I am from Mesopotamia, the area between Euphrates and Tigris rivers. I am a Kurd from Turkey. Where are you from? And may I ask why you asked me where I am from.

Tigris,
I am from Hungary, training at DC now.
I just wanted to know where you are from because Tigris is "tiger" in Hungarian, so I thought you came from Hungary as well.
Anyway, all the best,
Krisztian
