Berkeley Traditional Track LLM 2018-2019

So I received an email from Berkeley today saying that we should hear in the next two weeks. Unfortunately, that would potentially be after the March 15th deadline to accept professional track offers, so I'm not sure what I'm gonna do.

You mean the decisions for the LLM traditional track?

Yes, sorry. The email said that we should hear decisions about the traditional track within the next two weeks.

I received the same email. The email also informed me of scholarship opportunities for the professional track program. Have they sent you a separate email on your admission to the professional track program with information in relation to the deadline for acceptance of their offer or any other information? Thanks.

did you guys get admission for the professional track? I am asking, since I only applied for the traditional track and didn’t receive such an email.

No I don’t think so. I think only those who applied for the professional track received the email, since they have to chose by the end of March which path they want to take...

Hi,

Sorry for the confusion. Yes, I applied to both the professional and traditional tracks and was admitted to the professional track in Feb. The email was clearly only directed at those who had applied to both programs so not to worry if you didn't receive it.

However, to those who have been offered acceptance to the professional track and are waiting to hear from the traditional track: log onto CalCentral.

I just logged on to check when the various start dates for the professional track are and I saw a notification that I had been accepted onto the traditional track. Those who have a CalCentral account, you might be able to find out right now whether you've been accepted. I'd expect that they'll be sending out emails very soon.

Wow. You already managed to know your application status. Unfortunately, I do not have CalCentral. Congratulations and I hope you would be able to make the right choice.

I took this guy's advice and found out that I was admitted as well. Without Financial Aid, unfortunately.

Funnily, the system has two scheduled "Future Tasks" for 3/16 and 4/2 named "Respond to Offer for Admission" - implying that these emails will be sent on March 16 and the deadline to respond is April 2?

Congrats! With regards to the future task scheduled on 3/16, it is about LL.M. Virtual Admitted Students Weekend and you can access it via https://www.law.berkeley.edu/event/adp-ll-m-virtual-admitted-students-weekend/

Good luck :)

ALso admitted. But I don't have the Cal Central, just admitted under "Applicant Status Online" and didn't receive an email. I just decided to check randomly...it isn't 1 April so this cannot be a joke and i pray it is not an error!
