Hi everybody! Is anybody else planning on submitting their applications for Berkeley? I'm ready to pull the trigger but still waiting on my recommendation letters.

Hi, Cal 2018! Yessss, I'm finishing the P.S., and after that, I will submit it. First I was gonna apply to the thesis track, but after I heard that Berkeley is not used to giving many scholarships for that program, I decided to apply for the traditional track.
How is your background??

By the way, does any one have information that admission office may consider TOEFL score submitted after deadline?
My TOEFL score is just above 100 so I'm thinking to retake TOEFL to get higher score.
However, such score cannot be reflected on LSAC before the deadline of Berkeley.
If anyone in the same situation, do you retake TOEFL ?

I recently had a meeting with a woman from the UBerkekey Advanced Degree Programs Office. By that time, I had taken the Toefl, but I didn’t have the score, and she told me that if it was not the score that I expected, I could retake it even if the score would be submitted after the deadline.
In my case, I obtained 101, and am not going to retake it. The same woman told me that for them is enough just getting 100, and probably it wouldn’t change anything a higher score because you already obtained the score they requested. But is a personal decision!

Hi ! I received the e-mail from Berkeley which says that my aplication is incomplete.
However, according to online status, my application is complete.
Does anyone received the same e-mail from Berkeley though your application is complete ?

Have any of you applied for the professional track in addition to the traditional track? I've applied to both and have been accepted on the professional. The deadline to accept and pay the deposit is March 15th. Now they say on the website that if you reserve a place on the professional track and are subsequently accepted on the traditional, your deposit is transferrable. But what if I hear from other places (and it's good news) after I've reserved a spot and paid my $500? I don't know what to do but I don't want to end up letting Berkeley slip through my fingers while I'm waiting to hear from other places. If anyone else is in a similar position, what are you planning on doing??

Hi fdmuir, I have and I recently received an email informing that they extended the application response deadline of the professional track to March 15th because they understand that we may prefer one track over the other for various reasons, and that we may also be waiting to hear decisions from other programs as well. They also said that they will be announcing the traditional track decisions on early March, so I will wait until that time, since I'm already waiting for other schools too.
