Berkeley Professional track

Nastya

Dear all. Could you please share your experience on the following: how long it takes for Berkeley to review professional track applications. Berkeley website provides information that professional track applications are reviewed on a rolling basis within 3 weeks from the date of application. However, I haven't received any feedback yet and now it's almost a month since I submitted the application. I wonder whether absence of any reply within establised time-limits means anything? Thanks for your replies.

I rang Berkeley recently on an unrelated matter and they said professional track application decisions were behind schedule and it would be at least a month before I received a decision - so don't worry!

was admitted, as well but would strongly prefer the Traditional Track to be honest. Anyone have thoughts on if it's worth it? Need to give decision by March 1st. Qualifies you for CA bar but im not sure about NY bar or other states since it's purely summer...

Hello everyone,
I've accepted admission at the Berkeley Law Professional track programme. Just wanted to know if anyone amongst you will be joining me this summer.
I am a fresh graduate, looking forward to complete my masters with International Law subjects and then work at some I.O. (International Organization) for 2-3 years- before I pursue my doctoral studies.
Can anyone suggest if I'll be able to make it to an I.O. after completing education from Berkeley. I know they've no placement cell for LL.M. students! Are professors and alumni helpful there?
And since I've no experience I look forward to interning in between the two summers. Is it a good idea?
I've also got 40% scholarship from 2nd tier colleges in USA- shall I reconsider and opt for that?
I am not necessarily looking for a job in US! Would really appreciate advice from some distinguished colleagues. Thank you!
