So disappointing that we did not hear back about matching scholarship applications on the 22nd. Was going to make my decision between NYU and Berkeley today :(

Hi! Yes I applied for housing as soon as I got my admission and accepted the offer. I was offered a place as well and I’m taking it. I qualified for university village (for families & couples) it’s university owned off campus.

Their process is simple but they have way too many applicants so you gotta hurry up since it’s not a guaranteed spot.

I am still waiting on hearing back on the scholarship decision for both schools. It is frustrating as we only have a week left to decide.

I am still waiting on hearing back on the scholarship decision for both schools. It is frustrating as we only have a week left to decide.

Same. But to be quite frank we have to decide assuming both will be Zero, in order to meet the deadlines (and most importantly being able to pay a possible deposit until then - since the "receipt" counts).

Hopefully we will have news today/tomorrow.

has anyone sent an email asking Berkeley what is happening? They said 22 and now its the 25th.. we will really have no time to decide..

I got mine only a few hours ago (morning time Berkeley), so I guess they send them out over the day and if you haven't heard from them there is still a good chance (won't go into details regarding scholarship as they, understandably, ask confidentiality).
