Still no news for me

According to slave.lex, Berkeley has decided;

First round 50 admittance ---> no news
Second round 50 admittance ---> no news
Double sized waiting list ---> still no news
Rejection ---> Maybe I am he( sorry, I cannot type any more )

New admission emails should be on their way soon, since yesterday the deadline to accept the first round of admission offers expired.

Has anyone received the admission package already? I am willing to know which are next steps regarding visas, registration, etc...

Hi, I received the admission package, however there is no much information about visas and registration, it is almost the same information that your received when they sent the admission notice.
It seems they will send information related visas and registration, once they confirmed your payment of the Deposit and recevied the Statement Intent to Register.

This is the e-mail that I received today from Berkeley's admissions office:
..." Dear ____,
Thank you for sending your deposit and Statement of Intent to Register, we received them today. We will send you instructions for the next steps soon. In the meantime, please feel free to contact us with any questions you may have...."

I sent the statement of intent to Berkeley and paid the deposit just after receiving the acceptance e-mail. So far, I have not received any confirmation e-mail. However, I called the admissions office who confirmed the receipt of my deposit. Just call them - they are friendly and helpful :-)

I paid the deposit by credit card on March 26th and I haven't heard anything since.

CREDIT CARD? NO, you are not allowed to pay the deposit with your CREDIT CARD!!! Please read the admission letter thoroughly and carefully once again. You can only submit deposit with a " certified bank check", " international money order" or "traveler's checks", while NO personal checks, cash, wire transfers or "credit card" payments can be accepted at this time.......

I paid with travelers checks, I sent my statement of intent of register with my payment on Wednesday and on Thursday I received payment confirmation

Hi,
I was admitted to Berkeley with a reply deadline by March 27.
The admissions staff told me that the admin kit was sent around March 18. However, I haven't received it. I just want to ask if anybody admitted has received it. I am in Taiwan(Asia ) now. Thanks!

I'm exactly in the same situation. I haven't received the admit packet so far and they told me it was sent on March 18. I'm from Brazil.

Actually I wrote to the admissions office yesterday about this.However, I haven't received any response so far. I will let you know if I get any further answers today!!!!

consider they said it was sent march 18th...this means the university postal service sent it the 19th. Taking into account that US mail takes around 6 days +/- 2 days (not counting the weekends) the package should arrive sometime in the beginning of this week :D this means anyday now :D

so I got back from work and there it is in the mail box!!

I've just withdrawn my application from Berkeley. I hope that somebody receives some good news soon.

I received the news that I have been wait listed on 18th March. I am still waiting and hoping...

Does anyone know, by when Berkeley usually respond to the wait listed candidates? Is there any hope for us...
