i choose to attend a UK school rather than state school this year. But I would like to apply again next year for the us schools.
I am just wondering whether the us schools I applied this year will keep my application material until next year. Do they take into account that I was admitted/rejected this year?
What shall I bear in mind if applying again?
Thank you in advance~~~

Read their info on reapplication...
they normally keep past application materials for several years (one to two, possibly more, depending on school).
they will surely access your past attempts together with new ones...

Depends on the school. Typically, they will keep your application if you ask them to but after one year you will have to submit new reference letters, and financial documents and probably will have to pay the application fee again. But ofcourse this varies with schools.

Hey all!
I decided not to go to the US this year for several reasons. However, I want to complete an LL.M in 2009.
I got in to several universities and told them I would not enroll, but that I would most likely reapply for the next academic year. They all said that they would keep my application. Does that mean I have to submit a new statement of purpose, recommendation letters, transcripts etc?
Also, I'd like to reapply at some universities where my application was rejected. Some universities explain what to do in case of reapplication, some don't. Do you think I need to write a new statement of purpose, or is an updated version ok? I do realize that additional recommendation letters, experience, degrees are needed and therefore I will send new letters, transcripts etc. I just don't know to what extent I need to update/change my statement of purpose. Anyone knows?
Thanks!
