My application to Cornell was complete early December. Since then I have heard nothing. Has anyone got an offer or heard anything?

I would be grateful to hear from those in a similar position. Hope all ur apps are going well.

Nope not a word apart from the notification that my application's complete. I've already had offers from Duke and Vandy, but haven't decided as I would like to see what Cornell has to offer (in terms of financial aid).

Should I send them an email saying that I've received other offers but would like to know if they're gonna offer me a place? Sounds cheeky I know..but we've all got to weigh our options before deciding. Any thoughts?

Have been waitlisted. Any idea what are the chances of candidates that are waitlisted getting admitted. How does Cornell compare with BU for Finance and Securities Laws?

Just checked online apparently the committee has readched a decision..now to wait 10 days for the letter.

You can try to call Cornell to ask the decision. As far as I know, they would release decisions by phone.

By the way, when did you send your application and when did you receive the notie of complete ?

Got it in the mail (regular post) today. I had completed my application in November. Any idea about the chances of getting admitted for a waitlisted candidate.

My status changed to decision on friday, I need to wait for the mail (10-14 days) But, Im afraid to be waitlisted, since I also completed my application on nov. Maybe Cornell is sending their rejections or waitlisted decisions right now.

My status changed to "Decision" as well.

I checked on the website and also my status changed to "Decision", so I think we will just have to wait for the letter to be delivered.
I don't understand why they don't anticipate the decision by email (as CLS, HLS and other major law schools do)....

I'm on waitlist. I got a mail today.
My status was completed on 4 Jan. I'm not quite sure when it had been changed to decision but i checked it yesterday.

Anyone has ideas of the following:
Are there a lot of waitlisted candidates?
How long does it take for final result?

I think there are a lot of waitlisted candidates since there are only 50/60 seats available and near 900 requests.
As to the timing for receiving the final result I don't have any idea.

Looks like there's a 'waitlisted' trend going on here.. I submitted my application on 15th december, got a 'complete' notice on 9th January and yesterday 21st January got a 'decision' note..

Fingers crossed for the letter now..agree with Miki, can't understand why they don't email out their decisions!
