honestly, not yet, as I sent them an e-mail last week, wondering why they didn't get back to me sooner. they told me a new application form was needed, for I used the 2008 one when I sent my application file back in late august. that said, today I enquired on whether they received it yet, but no feedback so long. keep you posted!

On the other hand, today I sent an e-mail to Mr. Badger stating that I am still interesting to be admitted to UChicago, today I received an e-mail from mr. Badger telling me that they are going to consider me for an admission and they hope to be able to offer me one.

I just said like a "thank you" and "please still considering my application".
In accordance with their wait listing e-mail, if you still interesting in be amitted you must reply their e-mail, thats what I only did.

oh, okay. I replied it as well but only got a "thank you". I was mistaken and thought you probably wrote a nice and long e-mail to them to exprses your keen interest to be kept on the wait list :)

E-mails indicating that one still wanted to continue being considered for admission were to be acknowledged within a week. If it's been more than a week since you wrote to him, then may be you can e-mail him again. If not, then I guess you should wait a bit coz the guy must definately be very busy.
