Does any folk have news from NYU? NYU seems quite patient this year. Based on past experience, it should be starting to issue admissions.

I know some folks have been admitted by NYU@NYC in conjunction with NYU@NUS, and a small number of others have been admitted to its tax program. But it seems general, corporate and other directions' admissions are still in stock.

maybe in two/three weeks+, knowing from an "insider" of NYU Law...

The deadline for NYU is March, 15, right?

I think mid-March is the latest for international students, but not for domestic llms. Domestic students can apply up to April 1 and the deadline for decisions is June.

Now which deadline are you guys talking about?
I know only one deadline that was way back on 1st December.

Yeah, the Int'l application deadline was December, the domestic deadline hasn't passed yet. My (domestic) application was completed on Feb. 5th.

What do you mean by "official offer"? Isn't that one "official" enough which you received from NYU along with acceptance of NUS?

Well, the only thing the NUS offer mentioned about the NYC program was that I was elligible for both programs and that if I withdrew from NUS I would receive an offer to NYC in "due course". I understand this to mean they will send another letter in March relating expressly to the NYC program. For practical matters, I guess the only relevance of this second letter is to know when is my decision expected and if I can still wait to hear from other universities before making up my mind.

It is said that anybody granted Hauser Scholarship will receive the notice first. Is that true?

Yes, it does make sense. You folks have 15 days to decide and then they have another 15 days to process. In that way March is expectable.

My application for the tax LLM was complete November 4th but I haven't heard anything yet-is this a bad sign?

I don't agree with Santa. While a few tax LL.M. applicants have heard back, I believe many have not. I would not start worrying until April 15.
