@ Up - TOEFL is mandatory, you have to give the TOEFL exam, LSAT is not mandatory for L.L.M., if you still can, please do give it. You can go to the Chopras in Mumbai, they do the processing for all these applications in the US, they also coach you for TOEFL and LSAT. Chopras offices are located at Churchgate, Andheri and Bandra. You can google them and get their contacts.

Whether TOEFL is mandatory or not depends on the University one applies to. They set the rules in this regard.

I for one received TOEFL waivers. I have no doubt many Indian applicants can too if they demonstrate the desired proficiency. Worse come to worse, they'll reject your request and ask you to provide TOEFL scores.

Can someone tell me the chances of a person with a 6.5/10 CGPA getting through NYU? I have international internships, publications and conferences. I'm going to my 5th year now and there aren't many chances of improving my CGPA now...I would really appreciate some advice.
