Hey oma, thanks for the link. I wasn't aware of her background, but it of course explains the German greeting. By the way: I think her last name sounds more Dutch than German :-), which is the case for many people in Michigan.

Hi Gregor2008,
yes, by now I have received application complete emails from all schools I applied to. But don't worry - they arrived rather randomly and by far not in the order in which I submitted my applications.

I am thinking of applying to UMich Int'l tax and would like to know what your credentials were so I can get an idea of where I stand. I would really appreciate it.
Thanks.
Thanks.

Aren't you a US citizen?

Yes, I am. I just realized it was only for International students, as opposed to it being an LLM in International Tax.
How about for domestic programs, what do you think are my chances given that I go to DePaul College of Law in Chicago, have a 3.4 GPA, ranked top 30-35%, and a 3.5 GPA in tax courses including: estate and gift, international, corporate, income, and business planning?
I am applying to GULC, NYU, Northwestern, Loyola, BU, and possibly one of the schools in Florida.
Thanks.

I think you'll be a bit borderline for NYU Taxation LL.M and GULC TAX LL.M, but it has alot to do with your PS, CV and RC.
Do you have any special extra coric. ?

did you guys all apply for the Intl Tax program? has anyone heard back regarding the general llm? :)

Congrats, taxyoung!!! No financial aid results before March, according to the admissions office. And now there are only 6 places left in the Tax LL.M. ... Be prepared for the quasi-Canadian weather ;-)
Gregor: the General LL.M. admissions haven't been made yet. They'll start be released in early Feb., but will run until the end of March, according to an admiss. staff member.
Good luck to all!
