Hi everyone!
I have just been admitted to the 09/10 summer programme and thought it would be a cool idea to set up a thread for us to get to know one another.
I am 22 from the UK and cannot wait to start at the Boalt!

Hi englishboy,
I am planning to apply for Summer LL.M. program and just preparing the relevant documents. Since the decisions are to be made on rolling basis, can you please let me know how much time they took in deciding your application?
Thanks & regards

Hi,
I was waitlisted for the autumn program so I got my decision a little bit earlier I think. It looks like a really great program.

Hi Englishboy,
It really seems to be a good program; what exactly made you chose it over other traditionals LLMs.
Cheers,

My last post was supossed to be a question... I find the summer program really appealing, although I would like to hear about further details or points of view of the Berkeley Summer LLM vs. Traditional LLMs from other top ten schools.

Basically, I wanted to get an amercian llm and travel. The way the program is strutured will allow me to earn my llm and do extensive travel in between the two terms.

Hi Pedrinus,
So happy that you got in! I cannot wait to start - May seems so far away at the moment. Do you mind me asking where you are from, age etc. Looking forward to getting to know everybody.

Hello all,
I am also offered a place to Summer LL.M. & have to accept the offer before Sept 26. I am still in ambiguity whether to join or not? Actually I just joined LL.M. program in one of the good university in Canada with full scholarship. My area of specialization is IP and Berkeley is no. 1 in IP. The other advantages are that I will not waste another one year to get this LL.M. and will make me eligible to take Bar exam. Only thing which is bothering me is huge tuition fee. Is 43K is worth to have LL.M. from Berkeley? Any suggestions...
Thanks !!!

Alrighty, I'm in!
Does anyone have any scholar/fellowship advice? I'll have a speculative crack at a Fulbright, but I don't like my chances.
Hope to see y'all in May...
