Didnt find any post about Admission offers of Yale so thought of starting one. SO who has applied to yale and expects to be in NH. ......also any one has an idea after an admission offer how much time is taken by yale to assess financial aid applications?

Thanks for starting this! Judging by last year's admissions process, they are expected to start calling admitted applicants on Friday or early next week. I think they will inform all succesfull applicants by Wednesday. Good luck :)

exactly in 2010/2011 session admission decision was 4.3.2010 and for 2011/2012 session it was 3.3.2012. Going by this it should be 2.3.2012 this time around....lol.

all prayers are that what you say is true......!. since this time the deadline was extended to 1 Dec from 15 Nov....perhaps the decisions would be out considering this extension...? what are the thoughts on this?

Hm, nothing yet. Don't have much hope either way.

Looking at last years "AppTracker" it looks like only one person who used this board was admitted to Yale. It therefore seems possible that Yale has already called people concerning admission offers, but that no one that uses this site was admitted. I'm not suggesting that Yale has already made decisions, but I'm not sure we can really say, based solely on this board, that it hasn't.

This may be true; anyway, no news from me either. Let's see what happens tomorrow :) We can only be sure if we don't receive anything until the end of this week!

I applied to Yale too and I have not heard anything. Stilljammin is right - Yale may have started making decisions yet no one on this board may have heard. It is hard to say whether we have a big enough group of Yale applicants here to reliably guess whether Yale has started letting people know one way or the other. If I hear anything, I will certainly post about it. Thanks in advance to all of you who are doing the same.

I just called the graduate program office an hour ago, they told me that the decisions will be notified by mid this month. fingers crossed...

I don't want to sound negative, however this is what they say every single year. Even when all admissions are out, they keep saying that there are more results to be released, although only rejections were going to be sent.

I still believe that extension in the deadline for admission will be accounted or while making admission offers.

Well at least that's my way of understanding this state of uncertainty until any news is officially out. :D

Unfortunately with yale there are not many students getting admission offers. Let's see out of this thread who is the lucky one.
