Hi! For UCL, do you know whether the word limit for the written work is a strict one? They stated 750 words. I have an essay which is 800 words and I am not sure how to shorten it. Would they consider it if I submit as is?

I just received an Email from UCL, thanking me for my application and stating that my application has been received. Further, it stated that response can be expected within 6 weeks of completion of application and references.
I had applied on 12th December, with references uploaded on the same day.
Did anyone else receive this email?
Thanks!
Me too. It’s the same one you get upon submission, right? I even got nervous as I thought it was a decision, haha! Something went wrong surely.
Edit: I’m checking the portal now and the status of my application is no longer visible, nor am I able to access its details.
Edit 2: Back to “Under Assessment”.
Haha! Let’s hope it’s a sign of things moving forward. I am hopeful we hear something in the next 2-3 weeks.

Received the same mail as you.
Well, if they reset the timer now for how many weeks we have to wait, then the original 6 weeks starts to look a little different

UCL status has changed to “Currently being processed by admissions.”
As appears to be the case, one will get a decision by 12am GMT after this change of status. I’m anxious.

Nothing yet from UCL, in contrast to LSE.
I guess it takes a little extra time with respect to the upgraded LLM programme, but some weeks have passed already..

Dear all,
Question: For those who have received an offer at UCL, are you required to make a deposit?
According to the knowledge base of their website you have to pay a deposit for the LLM programme.
However in the application it is stated that you MAY have to make a deposit. Someone enlighten me, since I have now waited 9-10 weeks for a final answer.
