UCL 2014/2015

I submitted my application on 29th october, which became complete on 15th November.

I have NOT heard a single thing.

I have a feeling the letter might have gotten lost in the post? Does UCL email once they have posted the letter?

My portico just says "application being assessed".

What sorcery is this? Anxiety levels sky high!

Someone help!

Does it say application complete or application assessed by admissions?

Hey, my application became complete on 24th October and my status is the same as yours. I was informed that I will get a reply this week or January. So I guess this wait is normal.

Wow! Congrats! It all happened in half an hour for you! As for me, it stil shows this:

"Application Complete
Your references have been received and your application is being assessed".

Thank you. I had to wait for 8 weeks for the status to change. My application was complete on 24 October. When was your application complete?

yes

"Please note that the Portico Office will be closed between Friday 20th December and Thursday 2nd January."

Usually decisions are released automatically after 2 am in the following day, probably this is why some of us got decisions in the middle of the night. But I am sure that the office is now closed.

Between the "My applications" and "Personal Details" tabs you have an "Applications" tab. In that tab, on the right it should state your current status of your application and there is also a button "View". Click it and you'll see further details.

oh I was on another page last time :) yeah my status is also "applic complete".

I saw that you got in QMUL? Don't you think QM is better than UCL for IP?

Nope, mainly because UCL has a centre for IP law. But anyway, if I don't get in, my attention turns to my overseas applications (USA).

it is quite straight forward. I have sent an application to Chicago, NYU, Berkeley, and Georgetown. I honestly hope to get an offer from Georgetown, since they have 200 places for foreign students. The other 3 universities are very selective and I have to say that I would be amazed to get something from them. But anyway I said that I should apply rather than regret not to.
QMUL is ok, but if I get a reasonable offer, then things change.
