Hi annmj,

I think most law schools open applications for the following year in September. i think you should just apply as early as you can - especially if you are also applying for scholarships.

Your welcome. I think many people don't realise that you can apply fairly late to many UK universities - I applied to UCL in June and still got accepted - although obviously no scholarship. But I also applied to Durham, Kings and QMUL and still got offers despite my late application. Personally i think its a good idea that universities are flexible - as many students may not know what sort of grades they will achieve. But I think there may be some truth in the assumption that even some of the prestigious courses are just not filling up. I think this is mainly due to the ever-increasing problem of undergraduate student debt in the UK.

Hi annmj. I haven't had anything published but I worked as a lecturer teaching economics at a UK university and later as a journalist. In the UK I think the view is that academic qualifications and possibly work experience are key to a good LLM application. I would say publications are more of a requirement at US schools.
