Then i probably shouldnt be heard complaining because i was just made an offer of admission on 23rd May, notified of my offer conditions on my self-service in July, almost 2 months after, and expected to meet them before 31st July, although i ended up getting them delivered on August 3rd. And here I am.
well, when the delay/lapse is not the student/applicants fault, he/she shouldnt be made to bear the brunt, visa/acomodation and otherwise. I agree, the system leave too much to be desired.

Your situations sound quite bizzarre... Have you phoned them to check whether your documentation has arrived?
Fortunately, I do not need a visa and I have already secured college accomodation, but I need the confirmation of the BoGS for scholarship institutions, student loan agencies etc. Since I sent my docs last week, I am still patient, but honestly the delay in your cases is very disrespectful indeed. I do not know if they realise how many issues heavily depend on the prospects of studying in another country: scholarships, educational loans and grants, college accomodation, terminating your current rent, terminating your current employment contract, booking flights, cancelling back-up seats at other universities etc.

They have my documents, but they have others documents they have to deal with before mine.. Apparently, it doesnt matter if Im coming from across the ocean, need a visa, a place to live, etc.. Just a brief calculation: if they process the docs in the order they arrive, and if you sent your docs in May and are waiting until today, and I sent my docs last week, I reckon that I will not be in Cambridge before November! Seriously, I think they will eventually hire some extra personnel and speed up the process by the end of August because they just can't afford losing half of their postgraduate students, especially the overseas students...

What date exactly did u send ur documents? I mean, that's weird! People who sent theirs months behind haven't heard anything. I posted mine on 1st August and it was delivered on 3rd. What about u?
I have contacted the BGS and all they tell me is that they proceed with the documents in the order they arrive..
