Wow, glad to hear! I thought there was no longer a chance of gaining a scholarship and that my application status on camsis had been left unaltered by mistake... Fingers crossed then, any form of financial support would be such a relief!

Are there current/past students still around?
I'm wondering what the workload is like between terms?

I also wonder whether some past students should give some ideas about the advantages and disadvantages of having a course to be assessed by an essay rather than by an exam?
I would also like to know if someone here has taken restitution, commercial equity or the comparative family law and would give some ideas about those courses?
Thanks a lot

Also something about the comparative law seminar (without the family law component). Thanks!

That is, if meeting the conditions means "posting" the documents before 31st July, and not actual 'consideration" of same by the BGS. I only sent mine on Friday 29 July, and passed my language assessment on 28th.

Hi guys,
I want to ask if anyone know of the web where we can see what courses will be offered next year and which professor will be teaching them. I would very much appreciate some information.
All the best.

You can find the 2011-12 list here:
http://www.law.cam.ac.uk/faculty-resources/summary/llm-papers-to-be-offered-in-the-2011-12-academic-year-provisional/8775
Specifications of each course from last year can be found here:
http://www.law.cam.ac.uk/courses/llm-form-of-examination.php
Hope this helps! Really disappointed they're not running Use of Force or International Criminal Law next year though.

No. Relax. That's not true. Even in the document explaining the offer, which am sure u got, it was assured that sending the financial undertaking does not in anyway prejudice any scholarship application you made to the trust. So, there is hope
I still haven't heard from the overseas trust but I received a letter yesterday from my college offering to cover my maintenance fees. It's not much but it's better than nothing :)

I have been accepted at Trinity. I received a form with my offer in May to apply for funding available only to students having been offered a place at this college. I received a letter earlier this week with the good news.

@Letty
I have been offered an award from the Cambridge Overseas Trust covering all of my tuition fees, college fees and maintainance. I had an interview in June and was informed of the final decision around 10th of July.
But I think it depends on the country, it may be that the decisions are made later for applicants from other countries. *e.g. a person from this thread from a different country had the same interview a whole month before I was invited. Hence, don't lose hope :)
greetings

Now is not the right time to start loosing hope... I've already lost it because my interview took place in mid May, but fortunately enough, today, I've received a full scholarship offer from the COT/OSF :)))))))))
So, obviously the whole scholarship process is still under way...
Best of luck to everybody still waiting :)

Hi people,
I just want to say congratulations to those who receive scholarships. ( And Holly_go lightly- I am glad to know it all works out with the academic condition in the end)
Because I have never received a scholarship and my parents have funded my education my whole life, I have great respect for all of you. Hope to meet you all soon in Cambridge :)
