Hello everyone,
I have been following this thread for quite a while now, congratulations to everyone admitted.
I have also been accepted, however I did not get into the College I desired. Now Cambridge put me into St. Edmunds and I really do not want to go there. Does anyone know, whether it is still possible to get into another college? Any advice is highly appreciated.
Thanks.

unfortunately not. the other colleges must all be full and there's really no way of changing college, am afraid you've got to accept st edmunds..

Thanks a lot for the reply!! I am getting a bit worried, as I got the update on camsis, but did not hear from my College at all. How long does it take for them to contact me? (sorry for the obsession :-) )

In my case it was really fast but I guess it depends on the college

Does anyone know how the appeal system works? I got a First overall but my non-standard academic condition required a little extra, which I missed by a small margin. Do I write straight to the Law Faculty/Ms Wade, and are additional academic references usually expected?
Any help will be much appreciated, thanks!

Did you send in your grades yet, or are you just assuming that not meeting the condition will bar you from entry?

I haven't sent in the grades yet, we only get official copies in July I think. I'm guessing not meeting the conditions (even by 2 marks for one subject out of ten) by default means I can't get in unless I make an appeal?

Hey, I just thought I would let you guys who are still on the waiting list know that I have informed Cambridge that I will not be taking up my place on the LLM or at Gonville and Caius, so I wish you all luck and hope that one of you are given my place.

Ive decided to take up my place at Oxford based on the courses available and the lack of courses available at Cambridge this year.

Good luck then! I just turned down my MLF spot. Did you apply for the Gonville LLM scholarship?

I did not hear anything from my college yet, except for the camsis update 2 weeks ago. Is that normal? Getting worried...

Me too. My camsis was updated in April and I have fulfiled all requirements except college membership since May. I am very worried now.

Hm, I got a college membership, as notified on camsis, just that I did not hear from them yet personally.
