Still not heard anything either, it's basically mid may now so I'm hoping that the last few of us left will hear something soon!

Acorn67,

Has Ms Wade ever spoken to you on your application or sent you any mail on the progress?

Hi Acorn67,

Yea, i just checked your previous posts and saw that you were the first to report that mail and i responded. I realy do not know what that mail means, and this waiting is killing me!

I had blotted out every hope of attending Cambridge since Nov 2010 when Cma_sis sent me a mail that my application had been deleted for not supplying my accomanying material before the deadline. Mysteriously on 16th April, 6I got a mail from Ms Wade, to the effect that my application was being considered and it was discovered that some documents were missing in my file. She gave a deadline for submission which I did. Now waiting began again!!! And then the "Waitlist" mail a week ago followed.

The whole baffled me. I just pray that, my hope is not rekindled only to be shatterd at the end of the day. Whatever led to the revival of my 'dead" application better make it successful.

Hey guys, I got my conditional offer on April 7, 2011 and immediately accepted the offer and sent the required documentation to meet my conditions (financial undertaking and IELTS result) on April 11.

We're now a month later and my camsis is still "seeking college membership" and my conditions have not been updated yet... is this normal?

Will my conditions disappear when they process my documents? Are we informed when our 1st choice reject our application and transfer our application to our second choice? I find it odd that Trinity would take a month to reject my application this late in the admission "season".

I'm anxious to be accepted into one of the colleges and have my offer confirmed so that I can start planning accordingly. I also understand that the sooner one's offer is confirmed, higher the odds are to get accommodation from one's college... :/

Yep, that's normal! I also heard that many colleges are not likely to respond before the end of June

Seriously? :o I don't understand then why some of the applicants here already got accepted... I guess it depends on the colleges. At least all my other conditions are now met.

Do you reckon they're all being released at once? I'm beginning to feel like I did when the first offers were being released, constantly checking my mails... ;-)

Dominion, how did you hear about this? My Camsis is still the same. I guess successful applicants received emails, so I wasn't expecting to get an offer... but just wondered how you knew? Congrats if you were successful :)

I received an e-mail yesterday! They gave me a full fee exemption, but the scholarship was nationality-based under CHESS (Vergottis Award). I do not know whether other types of CHESS have been decided.

Has anyone heard from the Cambridge Trusts? Specifically the OSF-Cambridge scholarship? More specifically someone from the Balkans or East Europe? Elizabeta? Steeler? :)

They were supposed to inform the shortlisted candidates about the interview by "early May". Im starting to think that ship has sailed in my case :(

Hi guys, could you guys pls clarify some things for us.
1. This CHESS (I understand from the webpage is meant for Phd? pls am I wrong or is it also for LLM?)
2. Are scholarship offers only made to admitted students or can people who have not yet received decisions also receive scholarship offers? I just want to know the fate of those of us on the 'waiting" list.

Thamks for your kind responses.

Hello Holly,
sorry for a late reply. I received an email from OSF on 6 May 2011 and the interview took place on Friday 13 May. I am not sure at what stage is the process in other countries, but I was told that we can expect decisions in early July?!?
Maybe the ship hasn't sailed yet... :-)
Fingers crossed that you receive an email soon...

Thank you for your reply, Steeler. However, Im not really keeping my hopes high at this particular moment, knowing now that the candidates in your country already had an interview. I highly doubt that OSF is taking more time to decide on candidates in different countries.
Whichever the case, good luck with the outcome!! :)

My camsis status has been updated this morning, I've been accepted into Trinity.

I can't believe it, I was so sure they would reject my application. :o

Good luck to all of you who are still waiting!

Holy cow! I've heard they only take one LLM student per year - you must be chuffed!

I'm quite surprised actually. I didn't get funding but I got into Trinity.. go figure! But I'm really happy!! I'd have been happy with any college, it's Cambridge after all, but Trinity is an added bonus ;)
