I've just checked my Camsis and found "application unsuccessful". Keeping my fingers crossed for those of you still on the waiting list - it's not over yet!

Thank you for applying for the Cambridge LLM course. Your application has been considered by our LLM Admissions Committee but unfortunately, due to unforseen circumstances, we will not be in a position to finalise the outcome of your application until early-mid May. We are very sorry for the delay, and we will write to you again as soon as we are able to finalise the outcome of your application, but if you have any queries in the meantime please do not hesitate to contact me.

I also received the same e-mail from Suzanne Wade. What do you make of that? I seriously do not know, but it smells of hope anyway, because if the application is unsuccessful, thye could simply have said so by the same mail, instead of keeping an unsuccessful application in-waiting, or you think otherwise?

Kuoriver, some of us are starting to get Camsis updates saying that we've been unsuccessful, so until that turns up there's still hope!

I never got a waitlist email, so I think they're only sending it to people that they're genuinely still considering.

Its realy hard to imagine what it feels like to wait for this long only to be told your waiting was in vain. But never give up, maybe the best is yet to come but will definitely come. I wish u the best, now and always, as we also continue to wait for those holding the ace, hoping it will turn out well.

Thanks, Kuoriver. Luckily I have another offer that I'm really excited about, so I'm not too disappointed about Cambridge. Best of luck to you too - I'm sure the very long wait will be worth it!

Kuoriver I don't know what the email means but we can only hope until we find out the outcome I suppose, just really sick of waiting now!

Really sorry to all those who found out they had not been admitted, sounds like you have other good options, I wish you all the best of luck in the future!

Hey guys, I got my conditional offer on April 7, 2011 and immediately accepted the offer and sent the required documentation to meet my conditions (financial undertaking and IELTS result) on April 11.

We're now a month later and my camsis is still "seeking college membership" and my conditions have not been updated yet... is this normal?

Will my conditions disappear when they process my documents? Are we informed when our 1st choice reject our application and transfer our application to our second choice? I find it odd that Trinity would take a month to reject my application this late in the admission "season".

I'm anxious to be accepted into one of the colleges and have my offer confirmed so that I can start planning accordingly. I also understand that the sooner one's offer is confirmed, higher the odds are to get accommodation from one's college... :/

are we sure about the deadlines? i want to book the ielts test, so if somebody knows for sure, it would be helpful... :-)

I got an update today, got accepted to Darwin, my first choice!:)
but I still haven't even accepted the offer, and I still can't seem to find out when the deadline for acceptance is!

I haven't heard anything yet again. Ms Wade's email to me about a week ago said the committee has considered my application but I could not be informed of the outcome of the application until early-mid May. Whatever that means, I do not know. What's your status?

Still not heard anything either, it's basically mid may now so I'm hoping that the last few of us left will hear something soon!
