City Law School announces today the launch of its third internship. The internship will be with the major US law firm, Howreys in its Brussels office. The internship carries a 7500 scholarship.

In support of this strategy Howrey LLP is pleased to offer a three month antitrust internship in its Brussels office for an LLM student specialising in antitrust law at The City Law School in the academic year 2006-07.


This is a major opportunity for students interested in a career in international antitrust law to work with a highly respected, dynamic and fast growing antitrust team in Brusssels. You will have exposure to a number of the most high profile competition cases in the EU and the opportunity to grow your understanding of the daily operations of a successful international law firm.


Students taking the LLM Commercial Law programme and the International Cartels course in the first term will be eligible to enter the competition for the Howrey internship prize. The prize will be awarded based on an essay and finalists will be interviewed in January or February 2007 by a team from Howrey.


The internship will run from the beginning of May to the end of July. To support the student in Brussels during his/her internship, Howrey will provide a scholarship of 2,500 per month for the full three months of the internship. The City Law School will provide an automatic extension of two months for completion of the LLM dissertation to the successful student.
