Hi Mace!

I think both are very fine schools. Do you like QM or ManU courses better (keep in mind, at QM you can take two courses offered by other UoL colleges)? If courses suit you equally, what about the city? Do you prefer London or Manchester? Last not least, what about the money? London is probably a much more expensive place to live (doesn't stop me from going to KCL, though).

I think there's no "wrong" decision, so don't worry. If you still can't make up your mind, flip a coin. Seriously, I think it helps: if you don't feel comfortable with the result you know it's the opposite you want...

All the best

Hi Mace!

I am going to Manchester and eventhough at first I didnt think I would end up there, now I like the idea very much!
It is much cheaper than London and Manchester is full of students.
As far as accomodation is concerned, from what I hear, QM has its Halls in East London, abit far from the College and at bit nasty neighbourhood. Manchester has excellent Halls (and that I know from a friend of mine who is already there).
Of course, London is London and it probably sounds better for a cv.
Check the courses, which are better for you? There are many differences between the two unis. If you are interested in tax law or maybe intellectual property then QM is the place for you. If you prefer business law (international and european) then choose ManU.
In any case, Man appears to be far ahead from QM in Times and it was via this site that I found out what a modern and dynamic univ it is considered to be.

Good luck!
