Exactly, that is what I implied.
I wonder what would be the logic behind that...
Dont know about the deadline but heard the same thing for the HLS connection...
Rumour again. this is not true.

You don't know what you're talking about. That is completely incorrect.
I don't know if you have read properly but this is not my personal opinion. I was just sharing an information that I have heard from a current Oxford student.
Yes but unless you're making some deep philosophical point, you can't replace facts with opinions. You are spreading rumours and I'm letting you and others know that they're not true.

This dude is rude. Smh.
How am I rude?

I have heard from an Oxford student that they do not admit students that applied to Cambridge as well. The applicant must choose only one of them. Don't know if it is true.

You are rude and stuck up! Jeez, you must be so much fun to be around!
I still don't know what I said that was so rude? And now you have added that I'm stuck up - how? At least tell me why you're insulting me.

How dare you to ask for reasons :)
Perhaps one should really enrich the discussion here with some deep epistemological arguments against facts. As a result, we could finally rely entirely on our feelings; I don't think the significance of some of the discussions here would suffer too much. :p
Lol, I only made that epistemological point as a joke because the person put out a rumour and when I told them it was wrong, they said it was not a fact - just their opinion.

Not only rude, but also apparently have difficulty reading. The poster was quite explicit in stating that it was *not* their opinion. It was information they had received, the truth of which they were unsure of. Perhaps there is a language barrier here, maybe where you come from, saying to someone 'you don't know what you're talking about' translates as a perfectly civilized way of indicating disagreement. In the UK it is considered rude.

Lets try to summarize the general feeling on this forum right now: We are all very unnerved because the waiting has been going on for so long and we still have more than a week (at the very least) to go...
