Has anyone heard what time of year Oxford usually make an offer of acceptance if you've been succesful?

I think most decisions will be released mid-March. The Oxford Law Faculty website says: " For the BCL, MJur, and MSc Law and Finance, you can expect to hear from the Faculty around 18 March" (https://www.law.ox.ac.uk/admissions/postgraduate/postgraduate-admission-faqs).

The Cambridge LLM website says: "All Cambridge LLM application decisions will be released by 15 March 2017" (http://www.llm.law.cam.ac.uk/admissions/how-to-apply.html).

Hey over there!
I have following question...my academic essay is 2.051 words (without bibliography and footnotes). Do you think this will be a problem? Anyone with relevant experience?

Yes i think it will be perfect, you don't need to be so exact.

Good luck, everyone!

I submitted my application on January 19. Hoping it gets processes soon so that I can rest assured that everything got in okay. Funny thing: self-service is telling me that I uploaded a file that I have never seen before nor has it ever been on my hard drive. It seems to be a transcript from someone applying for a different course from their studies at Harvard. Wonder how that happened!

BTW, my referees have not received the e-mails requesting a reference (sent at the beginning of December) so I called up Oxford and they said that they have pushed the deadline for reference submissions to Tuesday next week (whole day).

In case anyone submitted their application as late as I did and is now wondering about the references.

I got my application on November 10th. I hope to hear from them soon. I talked to a friend who went to Oxford last year for the Mjur program. He said that we could expect to hear from them middle or in the end of February.

Tell me about it! Is anyone else waiting for other offers? :)

How about for MJur? Is it the same requirement for consideration?

Do your guys' BCL application status still read 'Ready for assessment in January Deadline'?

Mine is MJur, and the status still reads the same, 'Ready for assessment in January deadline'.

I think we are halfway through the waiting already.

"However, please note that once your application is ready for assessment, any further updates, including the final outcome of your application, will be communicated to you directly by the academic department rather than via Self Service."

Unlike Cambridge, Oxford is not actually going to let us know anything through the self service account, so you can stop checking :)
