I'm a UK applicant (graduate) and I got the open day emails, but another friend of mind did not.

However, I really think it's random because it is from the grad and funding team. And they're going round slowly...

I also heard of some rejections from France for the MJur by post today. :(

Best of luck to all.

Oh dear, well if decisions are starting to go out we should all know soon! If it's from the grad and funding team it must be random; they don't even get to know if we have an offer or not, only the Law fac. do!

Omg. This is awful haha. Now it seems like the more days that pass over the next week or so, the better chances become of receiving an offer.

Nothing in the post. Lol. I read that some people have received decisions via phone, post, or email! Guess I'll keep my eyes peeled.. haha.

Don't worry; I rang grad. admissions and they said that the emails are marketing and that they don't know who law accepts/declines, so really don't worry about it.

The woman actually laughed when I told her about it and said we shouldn't read into stuff!

Can people state from which country they're applying when saying whether they got a call / letter / email offer / rejection / virtual open day email?!

So far -

France - post rejections.
UK (BCL) - virtual open day emails.
Abroad (applying for BCL) - virtual open day emails and NO emails.

UK- absolutely nothing! (Although, like I've said, the virtual open day emails apparently don't mean anything)

As I wrote in my above message, I entirely agree.

Sorry for peddling the speculation with my last post!

Don't worry, you didn't! (:

Well..if they've started the process of rejections (and, presumably, offers..) all we can do is sit and wait (or get drunk..).

This stuff makes it wayyyy too easy to procrastinate finishing my last essay... ugh!

Wow... with those kind of marks at the LSE you'll definitely do very well regardless.

Sorry to hear about the rejection but well done on getting the LSE LLM, a few of my friends (strong students) got rejected from it - it certainly a really good course and hard to get in too.

Bad luck matey.

Did you get the ''Life in Oxford'' email, I keep hearing that it is linked to whether we are shortlisted or not.

LSEundergrad that's a shitter; I really don't see what they couldve based it on but still. If I don't get Ox i'll be off to UCL, I really don't think there's any shame in that! LSE is still ridiculously good!

Also, the 'Life in Oxford' email has nothing to do with admission to the BCL; some people got it because they've registered interest in going to Oxford, it hasn't even come from the same department that decide on our applications!

Oh my goodness reading those posts almost gave me a heart attack. Really on the edge of my seat because want to know the decisions as soon as possible. Haven't gotten the rejection email yet but I somehow feel it hanging over my head like the blade of a guillotine.

The Ox BCL is very difficult to be admitted into- all the candidates even those who get rejected are just first class candidates. Kudos to all for even applying- it already puts you in a different level. Now let us all pray for swift decisions and no heart attacks in the coming week.
