Oh hi there! I'm currently in my third year at the LSE.

Well that is a great news and it is very early by all records over the years.
Congratulations if it is true, though the statement appears to be a trap because it is quite ambiguous..

In the thread....???....???????
Nerx, I'm from Malaysia too, currently doing my CLP. Are you applying for the BCL as well or only for the LLM?

Oh I only applied for the LLM, the modules in the BCL don't really appeal to me that much. Wow CLP? That's a very tough course I heard! How are you getting along?

Oic, what subjects are you interested in?
Indeed, the CLP has a notorious annual passing rate of only 10% . But it is plain bulky rather than intellectually challenging. The 5 hours marathon sessions are grueling and most often than not, I find myself taking a stroll in Oxford.

I'm interested in company law, in particular corporate governance and I find the BCL doesn't seem to have any modules which are of direct relevance. What about you?
Hmmmm I see. I still don't know whether I want to do the CLP or not, since I'm hoping to secure a training contract here, although I do understand it's tough since we non-EU students are at a significant disadvantage already because of the troublesome work permit thingy.

Nerx, my interest is in property law, more specifically trust law.
