The day has turned out to be a bit of a let down after all the hype, me thinks!
Congrats Jags. It is about time you had some news. While some of us have benefited from a Cambridge response to keep us satisfied/motivated along the way, whatever you choose to call it, you have been trucking for ages with nothing, until now! I'm sure it is worth it in the end though! Now, I say Nerxiz Nerv needs the same. Especially after completely ignoring his own promise to go and revise for his finals! lol

good luck to everybody who's waiting for a decision from Oxford! I'm going to be away for a while since I just got my exam timetable and will need to start my revision for my finals, guess this will keep me occupied for a while!
Ah, but I disagree with your doubt that it is 'his'!

Can you find any suggestion here?
A clarification is in order from the concerned quarter..
I refer you, again, to the four lines quoted in my previous post. It is a quote from the accused on March 19th 2009. My case may as well rest, your honour...

I'll be seeing you in Oxford Jags! I got the same one line email from Mrs. Malloy at just after 5pm Oxford time. I was meeting with a client and then when I returned to my desk the email was there. It took me a while to dig up the courage to open the darn thing.
For everyone else's knowledge, the email I received was a reply to an email I sent to Mrs. Malloy this morning. Sorry Big Suze, I didn't follow your advice. My wife told (made) me email this morning, probably because she couldn't bear to spend the weekend with the anxiously-awaiting me. Plus I've got some scholarship deadlines to meet as well so this helps a lot.
Wow, this is a super relief! Especially after getting rejected from Harvard earlier this week. Longest week of my life. I hope that everyone else gets their answers soon as well.

This to me constitutes a promise of absence, his presence today constitutes breach of promise. The result was, well, relatively humorous at some point earlier in the day, at least in my mind. Ultimately means, he suffers as we all do during revision periods; the need to procrastinate!
Dear respected Counsel,
Kindly point out the specific words on which you place your reliance while drawing this inference. To me a non-native speaker, it seems all so black and white that I cant decipher the nuances which seem to catch your eye.

Lol, you know I had always considered that he was a he until then, I just took it for granted and I really can't be bothered to trail back and find out if I had a reason to presume. Many apologies, he may indeed be a she! Make that 'her promise'!
Oh, congrats Baltic, that's great news. Although, I'm starting to think it is a treasonable offence to contact this Mrs Malloy! lol

Its too bad for a cousel to admit so soon.. At least you could have waited for the statement of the convict..
LOL.. :o)
I'm happy to admit when I'm mistaken. It is strange how you presume these things! So, to the two who have been accepted already, what were your college choices?! Oh, and do you eagerly await scholarship news or is the funding not an issue?! I'm not sure how these things really work abroad and, considering we get charged an arm and a leg and international students get charged more, I'm sure you get really fleeced!
