I am waiting too! Nerxiz Nerv I read somewhere that you are a fellow LSE-ite. I graduated last July. I think I may know your friend in my batch who got into Cambridge last year :)

I want this wait to end! xx

Yes I am. Are you taking a gap year now?

Yes. Just taking a year out to work at a law firm. I am from a country quite close to India so I'm hoping that they are responding in a regional manner!

Congrats to everyone who has been accepted :)

Croatia. I bet there aren't many candidates from my country, so I'm rather unsure how to interpret this "regional offer" in my case...maybe like this- croatia is near to Italy, and one Italian has already been accepted. thus, I'm not? haha...I don't know.......what do you think?

I called Ms. Wade last Thursday and she said my application was yet to be considered by the selectors. She also mentioned that the selectors were meeting on Friday and that offers will be made throughout the following weeks.. so I am guessing they make decisions in batches although I am not 100% sure about the regional theory..

This leads me to believe that there is no such thing as excellent candidates. How can they decide who are excellent if they don't look at all of them before?
Or has another board looked at the applications before it comes before the 'selectors'? In that case the first board might send the excellent ones through first..

I'm so uninformed !! :)

Well if the regional offer theory actually stands I don't think you have much to worry about since you haven't heard of any Croatians being made an offer yet, have you? I think you're still on the safe side. I on the other hand is starting to look very worrying indeed!

Thanks for the heads-up Angelnel. Hmmm perhaps I should call Suzanne as well haha.
