What about the UCU strikes? Maybe they won’t work and send decisions for the time of the strikes..

I'm hoping that because buttons disappeared yesterday that there are at least some staff working through the strike. Maybe emails will take longer with less staff working but hopefully they do start to come.
The strike doesn't end until next Thursday and I can't take waiting that long

Honestly, I think early disappearance of the button doesn’t mean anything. Seems logical to mee that obvious rejections and obvious successes would lose their buttons first, and that the other cases need more deliberation. If anything, still having the button may be good news.

This is the approach I'm taking to it as well - touch wood but I'm beginning to feel that my button still being there is potentially a good sign rather than a bad one.

I am not even hopeful of an offer but the disappearance of the magic button and the subsequent wait has taken my anxiety to a level which I deemed impossible after the Cambridge decisions. I hope Oxford considers doing away with the magic button next year lol.
