I did not get any news from Cam- do you think that no news is good news in this case??

I got my offer on 28 Feb and having read the posts online and realising that I got my offer way before alot of people I rang the law faculty to ask why because I thought it might be because they had set my conditions high or didn't think I'd get a college and they wanted more time to circulate my application. I was told that while an early acceptance means that you are a strong candidate after they've had a look at all the applications they split them up and look at them in groups. She gave no indication that people were grouped together in terms of strenghth - apart from possibly the first group. It seems crazy that people haven't heard back but it may simply be that no news is no news.

I have a bad feeling than those who have not received any info from Cam so far are rejected by the Univer.

The ones who have not had any news should not count on being accepted by Cambridge. I find it ridiculous that Cambridge has not given any feed-back to many candidates at this advanced time of the year. It just proves that Cam is an arrogant institution, so you all should take it in a positive way in the sense that you'll have a better time elswhere. The self-service page is a complete joke, since it is only updated several months after you have been accepted/rejected. A friend of mine who was accepted in the beginning of March told me last week-end that her page still indicates "applicant".....

I have just read everyone's comments. I got my acceptance from Cam around mid-April after speaking to the law school. I think all those waiting should call them, they are really nice and helpful. The self-service page is updated by the Board of Grad. Studies who are dealing with all postgrad courses so can be a little slow. If I were you, I would just call the law school, I did as I could not wait any longer for a reply.
