I'm just curious, how long did it take between your application was complete and you received KCL's offer ?
Thanks !
Thanks !

Hi, I'm scheduled to begin my research degree at KCL in either Feb or Sep, depending on my deferment request. Would like to make new friends.

Hi everyone, just received an unconditional offer! Very good receiving an offer after waiting so long. They gave me a deadline (1 month - I do not know if it's a default deadline), but I am still waiting for answers from US universities. Do you guys know if it's okay for accepting the offer and then just tell them I am not enrolling? Thanks a lot!

Congratulations to eveyrone !
You can accept your offer and after decline it, after all it is you who will pay the fees and from my point of view it is ok to secure an offer even if you are not 100% sure to go ! There is no deposit fee so it is up to you ...
For the package, i dont know what you mean, I received a maill via the post where they just send you the same letter you have on your king's portal with few more papers like the fees :-)
Hope to see all of you in Sept 2011 !!

oh ok well I never received that but if there is not more information than its fine. thanks! what did you mean by paying the fees? I thought that since there is no deposit there will be no fees if you decide do decline the offer later on

sorry i express myself badly.
I meant considering the fact that when you will enroll you will pay the fees (which are huge), it is a big decision and it is normal not to be 100% sure with the choice of KCL or an other uni, so i think it is normal to accept first and then decide when you have other options. And yes there is no deposit fee.

Understood. Thanks a lot for the explanation. I will have more time to think about it.

Got an offer from King's yesterday! Am so excited as it was my first offer.... but I applied to Cambridge, LSE and UCL as well. And I would definitely go for them if I got an admission in any of those.
But guys, if I don't get an admission anywhere else, do you think it's worth going to Kings? I'm a final year law student from India with plans of finding employment in the UK after LLM. Would a King's degree give me a good shot at jobs?
