Far? you must be talking about the reputation in comparison, well i dont know much about, atleast i know that Nottingham Uni. has more reputation points as compared to NTU, however the Nottingham Law School has reasonable reputation in UK and its focused by many law firms.

Thank you very much for your interest.I have heard a lot of things of both universities. I have heard that The NTU is better in post-graduate than The University of Nottingham, but if you have a look to the rankings is likewow NTU is in the 30 position while the Unviersity of Nottingham is top10, so I do not know, I am very confused. Do not know if it is worh to attend a LLM in NTU. Imagine if the employer has 2 cv, one from NTU other from The University of Nottingham, what will he choose?

An employer doesn't only look at your LLM or the Uni you have studied at. It's the overall package that counts! You should have studied at an officially recognised University (ie not Cayman islands etc.), got good or better excellent marks, have done some nice internships, have studied or lived abroad for a while, speak more than 2 languages, have done some extracurricular activities, not be too old, be flexible, curious, polite and most important be at the right place at the right time or know the right people! ;-)

Yes you are right Tigger but do not forget please that the life is driven by even if you have a good package always count your post-graduate education.

Don't really get your point. The link I posted gives an outline about what is covered by the LLM courses. For further information just try to get hold of a textbook and have a look at the content. Or write an e-mail to the law school and ask for additional information.

Richie_85, what I want to say by detailed infotmation is the following: description of each module. I n your link, only appears: private companies, restituion&banking,. that s it, just the title, I am looking for the contents.Cheers.

They provide a student handbook which contains very detailed information about each module you can choose. Usually you get it during the introduction week at the beginning of the LLM. Maybe you can get in touch with the law school and ask for a copy of it in advance. Guess it should not be a big deal unless they are currently rewriting the script.

Brother, its as if you are relying more on the University as compare to your own personality, go for a good university and give a chance to life, it will come out to some solution at the end, NTU is good University, specially for Law, what i say is Nottingham University would be entertaining more applications as compare to NTU, so what your academic and english language test (if required) contain is obviously the criteria to choose between, like if i have excellent academics i would go for London School of Economics. Hope it covered the solution for your logic to approach.

NEED HELP. Got admission both The Universi of Amsterdam and the Nottingham Trent University
What I was wondering is that with the LLM Amsterdam you don t really get specialized and the clue of the LLM is to get specialized. All the law firm are divided by teams, namely:bankinf&finance, corporate, IPwhere do you suit with and LLM International and European Law? Since in that course you study IP, market regulation, competition, companyis very general and an LLM does not have to be general. On the other hand taking the LLM Corporate Law at the NTU, one will be ONE YEAR getting knowledge only and only about company lawlet me know your thoughts. Most probably I will accept NTU, but Amsterdam has a very good reptuation.

Thank you very much indeed for your goodness. The IELTS exam is killing me. I am doing past papers and I am not doing very well

Brother, Nottingham Trend ask for LLM a band with minimum of 6.5, however if you get short of your desired IELTS band, you have to get the pre-session classes at the university you asked for program admission, depending on your IELTS score you have to take the classes ranging from 6 to 20 week, if you get short of 0.5 as you described, you have to take the course for 4 to 6 weeks, but in these sort of cases students dont get unconfirmed admission letter, it always subject to fulfill the English Language Course and passing can only led to your desired course. I also have given the IELTS and waiting for the results.
best regards.
