LSE, UCL, QM and Kings - applications for 2011-2012

Does anybody know whether there is any chance of getting into UCL or QMUL if you haven't been successful for KCL?

The usual advice is that you can't know if you don't give it a shot. It all depends on your personal background.

However, I would recommend you, in the event where your applications to London-based unis would be unforunate, to apply to perhaps less-demanded ones such as Bristol, Manchester, Nottingham, Aberdeen or Edinburgh, which are still very good, generally underrated from a continental point of view, universities.

Generally LLMer's will want to live in London and do think only the London law schools are "reputed"

Bristol, Nottingham and Durham are very good law schools and targeted by all city and commercial firms. It would be fair to say that they would pick them over say QM or Kings. They are certainly on par with UCL.

However,

Thanks.

Perceived as very good. The law school is certainly top in the country. If you do well on the MA you are set to get a good job!

I think that their is no problem of capacity right now, we are only in january and i know few people who applied on march and were successful!

My full application was sent to LSE on 3/dec/2010. I've not heard anything yet. Any idea why?
KCL and QMUL have already offered me a place.
