LSE LLM Applications 2023-2024

Hey all,

Which LLM programme do you think is 'best' ? LSE's or UCL's? I am struggling to choose

I'm in the same boat, but I think it all depends on which courses you think are more interesting for what you want to study. I have made lists of courses and their descriptions and put those next to each other to compare. For what I want to do, I feel LSE comes out on top

From what I have gathered, both are almost on the same footing. Only internationally LSE has better brand recognition and the environment at LSE is more competitive and career oriented as compared to UCL.

Please do correct me if I am wrong.

Thats a good way to go about it. What subjects did you find LSE better for?

As I’m interested in the IP track, it’s the courses related to that. Have to also say it’s much easier finding info on LSE courses, increasing my trust in the way they organise themselves.

Anyone from Ireland (or otherwise not from the UK but entitled to Home fee status) get assessed as an Overseas student for fees?

I know per the law and LSE's own policies I am entitled to Home fee status but it is a real pain to have to submit a form and certified copy passport to rectify an error that they shouldn't have made in the first place.  £16k in the difference so not eager to pay it!

Is anyone else having trouble accessing the Graduate Financial Support Application? When I click on the link, I always get a 503 gateway error...

Hi! have you been able to enter?

I received the email stating it was open on January 30th but I don't even see an option in my Graduate Applicant Portal to enter the Graduate Financial Support Application. Where should I see the link you mention?

Hi everyone! Congrats on your decisions :) I was wondering whether yall know if there's a second window of offers? All the best to those who are still waiting!

I think offers are still coming in. You should hear about 9–10 weeks (instead of the standard 8 weeks) after your application submission date, since the admissions office's Christmas break was around 1-2 weeks (this is just an assumption of course).
All the Best!

Hey! Just received an unconditional offer. (International student - application processed on 24th November)
