I recieved an 'Admission Do Not Reply' email from LSE, the subject was 'How Do I...Contact LSE Graduate Admissions' and was full of generic info.#
Anyone else get this? Its weird because Iv had all 4 of my emails, and have passed all the checks etc since the end of October; and have not contacted LSE about anything.
Any thoughts appreciated.
Cheers

Will anyone tell me if it is worth the trouble satisfying all conditions for LSE if what I really want is to study international arbitrations in great detail, with a few subjects like international law and maybe comaparative contractual law.
My problem is LSE has now notified that it needs both academic references strictly on college letterhead. My second referee was a visiting faculty not authorised to sign on college letterhead. I have o energy to run around some other professor now. I have applied to UCL and KCL and have a feeling will get through.
Is LSE as distinctly the third best as Oxford and Cambridge are the first two. I am talking layman and general reputation.

Hey,
Cheers for your reply.
I think LSE probably is - UCL is an ACE school to though.
I would go to the university which specializes in the field in which your interested in - regardless of rep. My main interest is labour rights/legal theory - hence LSE.

hi guys .. yeh even I have received the same email about how should I keep myself in touch with them.
Is there anyone doing the specialism in Banking and Financial Regulation ? by the way .. I know age dons't matter for making applications but I just want to know what is the average age group applying for LLM applications for 2010 ? I will be 22 next year. I am just asking for my own satisfaction. Thanks

How come they make so many rejections so soon without making any offers? I believe no offers have been made yet.

True to my age, I am still running around trying to piece together the additional components LSE admissions requested after my initial submission. Anticipating rejection at soonest possible opportunity.

I am 'only' 20...I presume age is not a factor?

children - you are all children..... :)
Irishdude, if age is an issue I suspect it will count more against me than against you! (although incidentally, I have a friend who was turned down for an MBA on the basis that she was too young...)

Hi all,
I am 32, mother of two already, guess I am the oldest here. Do you think professional experience matters to LSE?
