It looks like KCL sent out a substantial first round of offers in the last few days. I got mine yesterday evening.

That leaves LSE, which - unfortunately enough - would be my first choice (tied with Cambridge).

Hey everyone,

Just joining the thread. I've applied for LSE, UCL and QMUL on the first week of December. Does anyone know in how many weeks I would expect UCL and QMUL to issue a response? I know for a fact that LSE takes a lot longer than the others..

For QMUL, they usually need 2-3 weeks for making a decision. I myself got my offer 18 days after submitting my application.

Hey,

I have just been admitted to QMUL. I won't be able to attend without scholarship (I'm a Chevening applicant) and am also waiting for the other universities. I have one month to accept the unconditional offer. Have any of you guys contacted the admissions office asking for an extension?

Best!

Thanks, theWisher. I see that your timeframe is consistent with sark's... I guess they should slow down a bit during the Holiday season...

It would be nice to have get a sense of the candidate pool, though. Would you mind sharing your CV with me? I'm a Law School graduate, pursuing a MSc in Law at my home university. I am also a second year Economics student and a practicing lawyer for a while now...

Thanks! I'll send them an e-mail this week and keep my fingers crossed. They do a pretty good job giving us an answer so quickly.

I finished my law studies in Austria this summer, obtaining a Magister iuris degree. My grades were quite good, but nothing too impressive. No other studies or postgraduate diplomas. I did 3 internships in austrian law firms during my undergraduate studies and I am currently doing a five months lasting court internship.

Did anyone already decided to accept a QMUL offer? I did already as QMUL was my first choice from the beginning.

I've just received LSE's fourth email. I suppose it'll be a two-month wait from now.

Seriously? two month?

Application sent yesterday, I guess I will receive my LSE ID between friday and tuesday - on the basis of what I see from their website.

Does it take seriously two months after that? and - just in case - if I get an offer, how long do I have to decide whether to accept it or not?

THX a lot.

It seems to me they are speeding up the process... thanks anyway !

For sure, I understand I will have a quiet Christmas, without having to think whether to keep studying or to postpone the LLM a couple years after getting my law degre....

:) thx again!

Let's hope so! I expect to receive an answer from UCL before Christmas as well, but I am almost certain that LSE will take a little longer. They had some technical issues with the system this year and that slowed the process a little bit.

Hey.

They might speed up the process, but I applied on Oct. 21st and received my 4th e-mail Nov. 26th.

Good luck!

RE:UCL Congratulations AM86 on your offer!
I'm still waiting for my feedback. Status still "Application complete" I submitted just a few days before sark did.
