Hey..thanks for the detailed reply. Yes, I don't go by the rankings; but it does give an indication about the reputation and how well it is considered worldwide.
Yes, all my friends, senior and colleagues, have recommended me to go there. I've been practising IP law, since a year now and always wanted to do it from London; though wanted inputs from all of you'll.

And, no as of now I don't want to practice in England; as I want to establish myself here in India first. Let's see how it pans out...keeping my options open.

My shortlist for IP law in UK:
Oxford
Edinburgh
Queen Mary
Manchester
King's

Hi @Law01, thank you for sharing your perspective as I had given my view keeping in mind Corporate/Financial laws as the specialisation (which I should have mentioned in my earlier post only). And few of my law school tutors had visited Cardiff & Warwick and had given good feedback. Nevertheless, sharing of views always help and so please keep sharing. Rankings are always indicative and one of the best way to find about a course is by speaking to any alumni.

BTW any progress on any application. My KCL application says that format of references, transcript and personal statement OK for assessment. The status at UCL says that application complete and is being assessed. Lets hope for the best. What about everyone else?

I have updated information on QMUL (conditional offer received) and UCL (unsuccessful application). Still waiting for the 4th e-mail from LSE.
What about you guys? Any news?

Hi JBME1986, I'm sorry to hear about your UCL, but congratulations on the offer at QMUL! Are you enrolling?

Re: UCL, how long from your final submission did you receive a response from them?

Hey guys.

Any news from UCL or LSE?

I have submitted my application for UCL on October 24th and my status is still "application complete".

I have submitted my application for LSE on October 21st and I still have not received the fourth e-mail, nor any information regarding what's taking so long...

Anybody has news/offers from UCL/received their 4th e-mail from LSE?

Thanks!

Yes. Did you get it?

If so, when was your application completed?

Thanks.

My application was complete on october 29 and I have not received the LSE ID. Please take in considaration that the LSE website says that:
"Current processing dates

Due to an unforeseen technical issue with our new system there was a delay in downloading/processing of new applications for a few days at the start of the admissions cycle."

I have received a notification that my application was downloaded, currently waiting for LSE ID.

I have already received a conditional offer from QMUL and I'm still waiting fro news from the other three.
For corporate/financial laws, my first choice would be LSE and then UCL, KCL and QMUL but this not unanimous.
For application purposes, you will need to upload both items: PS and CV.
Btw, did any of you already received the e-mail from LSE with the "unique LSE ID number"?

Hey man. I also received my offer for QMUL this morning.

I did not receive anything from LSE, which is weird considering my application was complete on Oct 21st.

Congrats for getting accepted by QMUL. As I also applied at QMUL, may I ask you how long did you had to wait for the decision? I would be very grateful if you could answer me this.

Hey mate. I applied on October 27th and received an offer about a week and a half/two weeks later.

Good luck!

I second jeremiesm, my portico's still unchanged. Has UCL started issuing offers?

They have. I received unconditional offers from UCL and QMUL. No news from KCL or LSE so far, though.

Well done doublewe! Have you decided where to enroll just yet? I just completed my application recently so I suppose I could give myself some more time to wait...

Not yet. I will most likely wait until I have a decision from LSE.

By the way, I just received the e-mail re access to "LSE for You". It seems like things are starting to move on that end as well.

I'm not sure, the offer letter is a bit nebulous. On the one hand, I'm "asked to respond ... within four weeks". On the other hand, I "do not have to respond within four weeks and ... do not need to contact ... to ask for an extension."
