Just to let you know: I just received an email this afternoon that my application has not been successful! So to anyone who has been rejected so far, this might be a good sign :-)
Glad I have an alternative at QMUL and they're having a greater variety in IP courses. So not too sad.
Good luck to everyone waiting for a response from LSE!

Congrats on the QM offer! Could you tell us when you completed your LSE application?
Posted Dec 05, 2012 15:14
Completed the application on Nov 16. So they have been quite fast in making the decision.

Thanks, actually you applied quite early as well =) Which university do you come from? QM seems like a perfect place to study IP law! One professor from the QM came to Taiwan last week and had a nice talk with me, and he stated that the IP specialization the QM provides is one of the best in London.

Yes, I wanted to complete all my applications before my last exam period here in Germany. I'm currently studying in a LL.B. programme at a university of applied sciences.
IP is already one of my specialisms (next to IT-law, data privacy, cyberlaw and media law) right now and QM has been my top choice for the LLM due to their great reputation in this field. So it would have been a tough decision if LSE had accepted me and I think I would have decided on QMUL anyways. :-)
What field you want to specialise in?

Cool, then I will definitely see you in London! I would like to take the track of International Business Law, though my experiences are more related to Banking Law. As such, I think the LSE would be a perfect place for me to go. I have done a one year exchange program at a Fachhochschule in Germany and really enjoy my time there. =)

Received today a negative decision from LSE... Will definitely attend QMUL in September 2013.

I guess I am a little late here.. do you guys know if applications are still open for LSE? Are they already sending decisions emails?
Regards from Brazil!

ck950203, have you received a positive decision from LSE already??
Posted Dec 06, 2012 09:24
ck950203: Are you going to QMUL as well? Which Fachhochschule in Germany have you attented?
I thought LSE would be more easy to get in than Oxbridge... but they seem to be just as elective as the others. Anyways, either QNMUL, UCL or KCL are a good deal as well!

Hi, ITR2744 when did you submit your application to LSE? I completed my application November 15 and already received offers form KCL and QMUL. I need to answer KCL until December 14 and I am still waiting on LSE.
Did anyone receive an offer from LSE? When did you apply?
Tks

hey, Indianajones, my application to LSE is still under consideration, though I was told that I would receive the decision by tomorrow. fyi, I completed my application on 31 October. Where do you come from?
Posted Dec 06, 2012 18:12
hey, IP007, I am not sure yet, since I am still waiting for the decisions from other schools, and they told me that I can only get the outcome after February...
I went to Cologne Business School for its international business program =) and yes, I think the schools you mention all have great reputation, and it should be an honor to be admitted by any of them. Do you intend to work in the UK afterwards?

Hi everyone,
I received my fourth email on 16 November and have not heard back from LSE since then.
KCL and QMUL were much faster: less than 48 hours to have a positive response. As LSE is my first choice, waiting a little longer will not hurt, I guess.
Good luck to you all!

I had applied in November . But due to delay in the refree submission it got completed on the 7th of December .
Does that mean its a later application and my chances of getting through might get affected?
I have a conditional offer from kings, buts its highly unlikely I wil be able to meet that , since its a very high score they are expecting.
By when should I expect a response from LSE?
